LD8u Bus Air-Conditioning/Heating Pod
The LD8i has experienced a long history within the industry as a proven
cost effective unit in day-to-day bus fleet operation, but in 2011
there‘s a new pod on the block.
Like the LD8i, the LD8u also has a light weight, streamline design to
assist with better fuel efficiency, it uses only 4.9Kg of refrigerant
which is better for the environment and it has low maintenance costs for
long term savings. But it‘s the reliably efficient heating function
that makes the LD8u the perfect all in one unit.
DENSO Bus A/C Offers
- DENSO designed and manufactured components.
- Superior heating, cooling and airflow performance.
- Smaller, lighter units that produce less noise than competing brands.
- Low power consumption which minimalises demand on the chassis' electrical system.
- Low maintenance due to continued product excellence and reliability.
- Increased fuel efficiency due to new lightweight design.
- Heat/Cool and Cool Only Systems
- Roof-mounted Systems
- Double-decker Systems
- High cooling performance and air flow volume have been achieved with the introduction of a highly efficient evaporator and condenser, and lowering air flow resistance.
- This high performance standard model is more than capable of handling harsh Australian conditions.
- Slim and curved design fits nicely onto the roof of the bus, creating a smooth integration of the A/C system into the bus.
- Wide design ensures smooth flow of cool air directly into the ducting inside the bus, eliminating the need for sub-ducts.
- Uses only 4.5kg of refrigerant.
- Fuel saving has been achieved by increased refrigeration cycle efficiency with the new multi-flow condenser and designed for improved air intake.
With a presence in the Australian market since the mid 1970's, DENSO has a proud history of supplying bus and coach operators in the Australian bus industry longer than any other manufacturer.
